Kim Jong Un Has Photo Session with Agricultural Subworkteam Leaders

Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People’s Army, went round the remodeled sporting bullet factory and Meari Shooting Gallery.

The first leg of his visit was the sporting bullet factory.

Looking round various places of the factory including its production processes and research institute, he learned in detail about the technical conditions of equipment, production and scientific researches there.

He noted the successful remodeling of the factory in a modern way requiring high science and technology in a short span of time is another proof of the validity and great vitality of the WPK’s line on building self-supporting national economy.

Pleased that the interior and exterior of the factory have been built up very successfully to be impeccable as required by the design approved by the party, he expressed satisfaction at the factory which has become an icon factory to be proud of.

He highly praised the builders for successfully remodeling the factory in a short span of time.

He acquainted himself with the quality of bullets at a newly built underground shooting gallery of the factory.

He said in order to improve the quality of sporting bullets it is necessary to direct primary efforts to scientific researches, robotize the production processes and steadily raise the technical skills of employees.

He underlined the need for the officials and employees of the factory to successfully manage the newly remodeled factory and keep the production going at a high rate with the pride and honor of working at the factory, a foundation for developing the defence sports.

The next leg of his visit was the Meari Shooting Gallery.

Going round various places of the gallery which have been dramatically face-lifted, he learned about their management, operation and arrangements for service.

He said with a broad smile on his face that he felt as if he were at a hotel as the designing and construction of the gallery were ensured on a high level and its logo has also been designed in a peculiar manner.

He was pleased with service facilities including several modern shooting ranges, archery grounds, video-game facilities and restaurant successfully built as intended by the party.

Instructing officials to start service in March after making full arrangements for operating it, he noted when the gallery is open, the visitors would be pleased very much.

Saying that it is an important work for thoroughly implementing the behests of leader Kim Jong Il for promoting the cultural and emotional life of the people to successfully manage and operate the gallery, he gave precious instructions for operating the gallery on a regular basis.

He was accompanied by General of the Internal Security Forces Choe Pu Il, alternate member of the Political Bureau of the C.C., the WPK and minister of People’s Security, and Ma Won Chun, vice department director of the C.C., the WPK. -0-
