Kim Jong Un Visits Kumsusan Palace of Sun

Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers’ Party of Korea, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People’s Army, visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun at 00:00 Thursday, the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star), to pay high tribute to him.

Accompanying him were KPA Vice Marshal Hwang Pyong So, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and director of the KPA General Political Bureau; senior party and army officials Kim Ki Nam, Choe Thae Bok, Ri Myong Su, Pak Yong Sik, Ri Su Yong, Kim Phyong Hae, Ri Man Gon, O Su Yong, Kim Yong Chol, Choe Pu Il, Jo Yon Jun and Ri Pyong Chol; and officials of the party and armed forces organs.

Respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un entered the hall where the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il stand.

A floral basket in the name of Kim Jong Un was placed before the statues.

Also laid at the statues was a floral basket in the joint name of the Central Committee and the Central Military Commission of the WPK and the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK.

Kim Jong Un together with the participants paid high tribute to the great leaders before their statues.

He entered the hall of immortality where Kim Jong Il lies in state.

He made bow to Kim Jong Il in the humblest reverence.

The participants went round a hall where orders Kim Jong Il received are on display and halls which house a car, electric car, boat and train coach used by him for his field guidance and foreign tours till the last moments of his life.
