Pyongyang, June 21 (KCNA) — Events took place in different countries to commemorate the 57th anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il‘s start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK).
A celebration meeting was held in Kyrgyzstan, seminars in Nepal and Uganda and lectures in Mexico and Ukraine.
The chairman of the Central Council of the People Unity-“Kyrgyz El” Republican Political Party of Kyrgyzstan said that Kim Jong Il firmly consolidated the unity and cohesion of the WPK in the whole period of his guidance over it and built it into the genuine mother party serving the people.
The general secretary of the Central Committee of the Nepal Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist), the chairman of the Nepal Journalist Association for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Politics and the chairman of the Study Forum for Self-Reliance of Nepal said that Kim Jong Il developed the WPK into the Juche-oriented revolutionary party remaining true to the idea and leadership of the leader. They highly praised him as a peerless patriot and tender-hearted father who dedicated himself to the people, regarding them as his teacher and believing in them as in Heaven.
Personages of the Ugandan National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, the chairman of the Ugandan National Executive Committee of the Pan-African Movement and the Uganda-DPRK Friendship Association said that Kim Jong Il developed the Juche idea into the guiding idea of the WPK and strengthened the WPK into an invincible revolutionary party and popular one of the working people by further strengthening it organizationally and ideologically.
The chairman of the Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism who doubles as director-general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea and the chairman of the Association for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism in Lvov, Ukraine lauded the exploits performed by Kim Jong Il during his guidance over the WPK.
Meanwhile, a celebration meeting was held by the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. -0-
