Army-people meetings were held in South Phyongan, South and North Hwanghae, Kangwon, North and South Hamgyong, Ryanggang provinces and Nampho, Kaesong and Rason cities on October 14 to make a pledge to greet the 8th Congress of Workers’ Party of Korea with proud victories by turning out in the 80-day campaign, true to the appeal of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
The meetings were attended by officials of local Party and power organs, working people’s organizations, industrial establishments and cooperative farms and working people and officers and men of the Korean People’s Army and the Public Security Forces.
Reports and speeches were made at the meetings.
Letters of pledge to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un were adopted at the meetings.
The meetings came to a close with public processions.
