Disabled Children Mark International Children’s Day

A gathering of disabled children took place at the Taedonggang District Gymnasium in Pyongyang on Saturday, the International Children’s Day.

Present there were Jong Hyon, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Korean Federation for the Protection of the Disabled, officials concerned, disabled children, kindergarteners of Tongmun Kindergarten 2 in Taedonggang District and their teachers and parents, members of the European Union Programme Support here and foreign guests.

A speech was made by Song Hyang Chun, director of the Korean Rehabilitation Centre for Children with Disability, before an art performance and sports and amusement games by disabled children and kindergarteners.
