Fireworks Displayed to Mark Anniversary of Country's Liberation

Fireworks were displayed in the sky above Pyongyang on Saturday evening to mark the 70th anniversary of Korea’s liberation. Kim Il Sung Square, Mansu Hill, Okryu Bridge and other places on the bank of the River Taedong where the Tower of the Juche Idea is standing were crowded with people of various circles, school youth and children waiting for the moment of the fireworks display.

Fireworks were displayed, presenting a fantastic scenery in the sky above the city at 20:30. Seeing the spectacular fireworks, the masses recollected with deep emotion the sacred career and undying exploits of President Kim Il Sung, the most prominent leader of the nation.

The celebration fireworks vividly reflected the revolutionary faith and will of the service personnel and people of the DPRK to add glory to the exploits the President performed by liberating the country and achieve new victories and prosperity in the glorious Kim Jong Un’s era along with the great annals of Kim Il Sung’s and Kim Jong Il’s Korea.
