Floral Tribute Paid to Statues of Great Leaders

Officials, working people and service personnel of the Korean People’s Army paid tribute to the statues of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and the mosaics of their smiling portraits in different parts of the country on the morning of the New Year’s Day.

Flower baskets were laid at the statues of the great leaders on Mansu Hill in the names of the Party, power and armed forces organs, social organizations, ministries, national agencies, units of the KPA and the Public Security Forces, and institutions, industrial establishments and universities at all levels in Pyongyang.

Members of the Pyongyang Mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front placed a bouquet before the statues.

The visitors made deep bows to the statues of the great leaders.

Baskets of flowers in the names of KPA and PSF units, institutions and enterprises, and bunches of flowers were also laid at the statues of the great leaders and their smiling portraits in different places of the capital city, including Kim Il Sung University, the Ministry of Public Security and the Mansudae Art Studio.

Officials, working people and KPA service personnel in all parts of the country paid tribute to the statues of the great leaders and their smiling portraits in their residential areas.
