Kim Jong Un Provides Field Guidance to Songchongang Net-Weaving Factory and Plastic Tube Shop

Supreme Commander of the Korean People’s Army (KPA) Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) and first chairman of the National Defense Commission (NDC) of the DPRK, gave field guidance to the Songchongang Net-weaving Factory and plastic tube shop of Enterprise No. 1521 of the KPA.

He looked round the mosaics depicting smiling President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

He was pleased to see the mosaics erected by the officials and employees at their enterprise with profound reverence and the yard in front of them and their environment face-lifted.

He went round the newly arranged room dedicated to the history of the enterprise.

He said that the enterprise established under the far-reaching plan of the President made a great contribution to the development of the national economy under the loving care of Kim Jong Il in the past period.

Noting that the appearance of the net-weaving factory and plastic tube shop at the enterprise helps the enterprise emerge a general factory playing a big role in the building of a rich and powerful nation, he recollected the day he visited it last year.

Going round the net-weaving factory and plastic tube shop, he acquainted himself in detail with production there and management activities.

He highly praised the enterprise for waging a dynamic drive to keep the production going at a high rate at the modern factory and shop newly built under the leadership of the party.

He said that the factory and shop producing nets, ropes and plastic tubes badly needed by various fields including the fruit growing, fishing industry and construction are the nation’s precious assets, though they are not big in their scale.

Saying that the demands for nets, ropes and plastic tubes are on the daily increase, he instructed the enterprise to boost their production by depending on the production foundation already laid.

The Marshal said:

“It is advisable for the factory and shop to improve the quality of products and their packing to be favored by the users and newly arrange a products show room.”

Going round the remodeled cultural hall, he asked how many seats it has and how it is being operated and appreciated its successful remodeling.

Watching the visual aid materials displayed on the walls of the corridor of the hall, he underscored the need to effectively conduct the education of employees in various forms and by diverse methods and direct efforts to the education aimed to implant the anti-imperialist, anti-U.S. class consciousness into their minds as required by the prevailing situation, in particular.

He was accompanied by KPA Vice Marshal Hwang Pyong So, director of the KPA General Political Bureau, and Han Kwang Sang, department director of the C.C. the WPK, and Army Lieut. General Ma Won Chun, director of the Designing Department of the NDC.
