Participants in Int’l Festival Visit Kim Jong Il’s Birthplace in Paektusan Secret Camp

The participants in the Fifth International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt Paektu visited Chairman Kim Jong Il’s birthplace in the Paektusan Secret Camp on August 14.

They placed a floral basket and bouquets at the mosaic depicting the three commanders of Mt Paektu and paid tribute to them.

In the yard of the old home, they recollected the revolutionary career of Kim Jong Il.

They went round the headquarters log cabin, quarters for guerrillas, a well used by anti-Japanese war heroine Kim Jong Suk, etc.

Prior to this, they toured the Samjiyon Grand Monument which conveys the anti-Japanese revolutionary feats of President Kim Il Sung.
